Villa rental is subject to your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:-
Bookings: All bookings must be made by a member of the party occupying the property and must be 25 years or over and be authorised to agree the terms and conditions on behalf of all of the persons included on the booking form / e-mail confirmation.
Booking Deposit: A non-refundable booking deposit of 15% of the total booking cost is required with your completed booking form within 48 hours of acknowledgement of your booking. Payment can be made by personal check, any major credit card or Paypal. The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. Any deposit paid will be non-refundable and will be deducted from the final amount due.
Balance: Full payment of the final balance (including any optional charges e.g. pool heating) is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Security Deposits: When making your final payment a refundable security deposit of £250 will also be required. This covers you for any accidental damage and in the event of no damages being found, will be returned to you 2 weeks after your departure. In the event that damages have occurred, advice will be sent via e-mail and a receipted invoice issued detailing any charges made to the security deposit. You are asked to check for damages on your arrival and report anything you find directly to the owners via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellation: In the event of cancellation the following charges will normally apply: 8-12 weeks prior, 50% of rental charge will be retained by owner. Up to 8 weeks prior, 100% of rental charge will be retained by owner. All cancellations must be made in writing. We recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance to cover any cancellation charges. In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond the owners control results in the cancellation of the booking the owner or their agent reserves the right to cancel the booking and be liable only to refund any monies already paid by the client. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
Force Majeure: The owners of the property, their servants or agents, accept no liability to pay compensation in respect of any loss, damage or changes arising from unforeseeable circumstances beyond their control, including (but not limited to) war, riots, civil strife, strikes, floods, and closure of airports, adverse weather conditions, equipment breakdown or other events beyond our control.
Equipment Breakdown: In the event of any equipment breakdown, you should report this to the local management company. All endeavours will be made to repair any equipment as soon as possible, but no liability is accepted for an loss of use.
Liability: You are advised that you are occupying a private villa and therefore are responsible for your own safety in respect of any loss, personal accidents or damages sustained by you or any members of your party during your stay. It is the guests responsibility to ensure that they have adequate holiday insurance to cover personal injury/ accidents /damage. No claims whatsoever will be accepted by the owners or there agents of the property. The owner or their agents accept no liability for loss of mains services or failure of appliances or of any actions taken in the vicinity of the property by any authority or third party persons beyond their control. Your acceptance of these terms indemnifies the villa owners or their agents against any claims for loss or injury.
Pool: Guests using the pool or its surrounding areas do so at their own risk. Children are required to be supervised at all times when using the pool or on the pool deck area. The owners their servants or agents will accept no responsibility for any loss or personal injury incurred from using the pool or its surrounding areas. Where pool heating has been purchased, this has been set to a target temperature of 82 degrees Fahrenheit. During cool evenings the temperature of the pool can drop, so some temperature fluctuations are inevitable at certain times of the year and cannot be avoided.
Arrival/Departure: Clients may gain access to the property from 4pm on the day of arrival and the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged and agreed. Unauthorized late checkouts will be charged an additional night's rental. Please note that wherever possible we will try to accommodate our guest as best we can to fit in with their travel plans, but this must be agreed prior to your arrival/departure. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
Occupancy: Only the persons named on the booking form may only occupy the accommodation, any deviation without permission could result in eviction from the property. Due to local licensing and fire safety restrictions the maximum number of guests is limited to ten (10) persons (plus 2 infants in cots). We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
Access: The client is to allow the owner or their agents the right to enter the property to carry out any maintenance.
Insurance: Guests are strongly recommended to take out adequate holiday insurance, to cover cancellation, accidents/illness or damage.
No Smoking: For the comfort of our guests no smoking is permitted inside the villa, smoking is however permitted on the pool/patio area.
Sales Taxes: All prices include local sales taxes unless otherwise stated.
Pets: Sorry for the comfort of other guests no pets are allowed.
Written Exceptions: Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
Acceptance: By payment of your initial deposit you acknowledge and accept all terms and conditions of the booking as outlined above.
